8 Best Essay/Homework writing tips

You might have written or had someone who needs to write a good English essay .This is common in colleges /universities and high school where you are tasked with essay writing homework. I remember the feeling when my tutor once told me to revise some homework (Essay) despite having put my best efforts in it .Today I am going to give all students, workers and other writers the tips and best practices used when writing either Essay, any homework answer or content writing.
1. Choose your topic right!
If your lecturer/teacher / tutor did not give you a topic to write about be very careful when deciding on what you want to write about. Everyone wants to read interesting topics or stories and not some boring crap that can make them sleep before getting to the second paragraph. The title of your essay shall attract the reader and once you capture his attention he shall want to get to the end of your essay with lots of  positivity in his/her mind.
You should also conduct some research on your chosen topic and determine the function of your essay i.e. whether it is informative or persuasive. For informative or educative essays it is good to write on a topic that you have studied / are an expert /professional /well conversant with.
The persuasive topics should be on topics that you have a passion in e.g. your hobbies, likes etc. The idea is to kill it, so get a topic that you are interested in.
2. The outline
This involves organizing your thoughts which is achieved through putting on paper what is in your mind. It helps you to see the ideas and link between them in a clearer manner. It also makes you think like the reader of your essay or homework and this way you get to place yourself in your tutor’s position. Get rid of anything you do not want/likeand keep what pleases you.
3. Indicate your thesis
The thesis statement lets your tutor know the content and the direction of your essay. This is achieved by making sure that the main ideas are captured in the statement. The statement should have two parts where the first one is the topic and the second part should point towards the concept of the essay. For example if you are writing about Barrack Obama and his administration’s achievements, the thesis statement should be something like this “Barrack Obama’s Administration achievement through his two terms in office as the President of United States.”
4. The body of your essay
This should argue, describe and explain your topic and the ideas in your outline should flow and be arranged separately (per paragraph) in your essay. The headings or topics should be well labelled and the ideas to support such topics should be clear to the tutor.
5. Have a clear introduction
Every reader/tutor/teacher shall read your essay’s introduction and decide whether to continue or not. Your introduction should explain and try to give the reader what is in the body or outline of your essay.
6. Be original!!
This is a very important aspect of your essay/homework/assignment. Plagiarizing your work may deny you that A+ grade you deserve. Any quoted work or phrase should be well referenced.

7. Format your work
The format required by your tutor should be observed when writing your essay/assignment /homework. If you require help to format your work please seek it because this shall be part of your grading. The most commonly used formats are APA and MLA.
8. Revise it over and over again!
Before handing over your essay/homework or assignment, make sure it is error free or if there are errors they should be minimal. Check for grammatical errors and also spelling mistakes and do not assume that since your soft copy has no red or blue lines that the essay is free of mistakes. Re-read the homework for at least three times, this makes you flow with the concept and also get rid of the errors.
These are just but a few tips you may need for you to Ace your classes. If you feel that you need further help, there are several homework help services which are online. One of my favorite is This!!
