When I was in school, one thing that really bothered
me was when and how to complete all the assignments and homework allocated to
us by teachers. This I believe is still the same case even today and bearing in
mind the hard economic conditions, most college and higher education students
are working and studying at the same time. The process of getting homework
answers during my school time was tedious because there were no known online sources . Today however,
students have a lot of resources to get homework help and answers from but the
limit and constraint is time. This brings the question as to whether they
should be able to access homeworkhelp from external sources?
The answer to this question is yes. Why? Because as much as most university and college professors think that this is a form cheating , I consider it as a student being smart and beating the system that is so rigid and mediocre to adjust to the changing times of online systems that they have got no control over. The irony however is that most learning institutions are encouraging students to use online resources availed in their websites and they are all going digital to an extent of uploading library materials online and making their websites an income source through advertisements. Why should they then not accept homework answers that are originally made for a student by an external expert tutor?
The system of education today is uncontrollable and our kids are learning a lot of things online whether good or bad and a student learning to buy homework answers and pay for homework help should not be considered as being lazy but a smart student. I watched a documentary of the founder of Microsoft Bill Gates and he said and I quote "I always hire people who are considered lazy because they will find a short cut to do the work fast." This affirms my point that students who are overwhelmed by their homework should find short cuts and get external homework help.
